Description:

This item allows anyone who can make a knowledge religion check (or untrained Int check) of 15 or more (20 or more) to use speak with dead on a corpse regardless of how long its been dead. If the initial attempt fails the user can try again with a DC 20 (25). If they fail they instantly take 5d6 damage no save and can’t attempt any more attempts on that corpse ever. If someone else attempts to use the glove on that same corpse it fails and they take the resulting 5d6 no save on every attempt. If the use succeeds they are able to talk to the corpse for 10 rounds (+1 for every 5 points over the DC) though they have to coax the corpse a bit as they don’t always know they are dead. For any extra rounds after the first 10 the user takes 2 points of damage no save until they stop. The damage taken from the glove cannot be fast healed or regenerated but healing spells and natural healing work fine.
